Over nearly three decades, we became a trusted choice for travelers seeking meaningful and authentic experiences in Japan—building relationships so strong that nearly 80% of our guests return to travel with us again.

In 2025, Japan Planned acquired this long-standing travel business, carrying its legacy forward with a new generation of leadership and vision.

Japan Planned was co-founded in 2021 in Okinawa by Kyoto native Miharu and her husband. It began by helping U.S. service members stationed in Japan explore the country more deeply, and soon expanded to welcome travelers from around the world.

Today, we combine decades of experience with deep local knowledge to reveal the hidden beauty of Japan through thoughtfully designed journeys.

Each group tour is custom-planned and personally accompanied by Miharu alongside trusted local guides—offering enriching cultural experiences and access beyond the usual path.
